Modeled after the Virginia State Police Med-Flight Unit,
this Bell 206L-3 LongRanger built by George Blanchette
depicts the original stationed in Richmond Virginia.
It's powered by a Webra speed 61 and controlled by Airtronics radio and
gyro. All the detail items are scratch built, including the scale
landing gear, working nightsun, and external antenna. All the rivets
where installed individually. The paint colors where computer color
matched by a local industrial paint supply store, then applied in various
coats.
